Edition and publisher
Smart SVG Animation for VS Code is published as chaunguyen2310.smart-svg-animation. It is a separate package from the browser and Microsoft Store apps.
Free editing and Pro exports
All effects can be edited and previewed on Free. Save/Load project JSON remains available. Free exports SVG/HTML up to five seconds without Pro effects. Exporting Pro effects, longer timelines, video/GIF, framework or Lottie files requires an active Pro license. A Pro track counts even when hidden. Lottie preview is free; incompatible effects are reported rather than exported incorrectly.
Price, renewal and license delivery
Optional Pro is USD 25/year, billed annually with automatic renewal until canceled. Polar checkout shows applicable tax, the final price and purchase terms. After purchase, find the key in the Polar customer portal and activate it in Settings. Online verification is required for Pro exports.
The current Polar benefit shares its activation allowance with the browser edition. Microsoft Store purchases are separate. Deactivating an installation releases an activation when supported; Forget removes only the local credential. Neither action cancels the subscription.
Cancellation and refunds
Manage renewal and cancellation in the Polar customer portal. Cancellation does not itself refund earlier charges. For billing problems or refund requests, contact support with the purchase email and order reference. Approved refunds are handled through Polar under its buyer terms and applicable consumer rights. No fixed money-back period is promised here.
Your artwork and output
Keep the rights needed to use imported artwork, fonts and images. Save backups and review generated or exported content. Format support depends on artwork structure and the runtime; not every SVG feature or effect can be converted to every export format.
Optional AI and SVG optimization
AI is optional and assists only parts of the animation workflow. Results depend on your prompt, artwork and provider, may not match your expectations, and require review. A separate provider key and provider charges may apply. Prepare and edit artwork before optimization, retain the original, then compare layers, shapes, masks, clipping and fonts after the operation. Optimization does not guarantee a smaller file, a preserved appearance or production-ready output.
